The Folio Society Brand

Redesigned The Folio Society brand.

 

This was a major design task to rebrand The Folio Society, to create a fresher appearance and appeal to a younger and wider audience.

 

The process started with introducing two new house typefaces, Gill Sans Book and Bembo Book, both Monotype cuts, to help reflect the company heritage and to work alongside the company logo designed by Ged Palmer.

 

From here, a long process started, ensuring all corporate and marketing material adopted the new appearance, and worked effectively for both print and onscreen. To aid the consistency of design, both in house and for agencies, I created the Folio Brand Book, a compilation of brand information, from our company values to detailed specifications of the visual identity.
